Love & Support

Today's blog post is going to be a little different. It's not about entrepreneurship or business or anything like that. Maybe it can relate, but that's not the focus. The focus is on love. Love and support. I just had a pull in my heart to write this one.

The past year of mine has had its lowest of lows, but also along with them came the highest of highs. I'm thankful for the memories that I've collected and all the moments that were shared with loved ones. But most importantly, I'm thankful for the amount of support and encouragement that has been sent my way as I push to accomplish my very big goals. Without the love and support, I don't know where I'd be. I'm writing this today because I want you to know that if you have someone who loves you unconditionally, who builds you up in moments of worry and doubt, who fights for you relentlessly, you have something special. I can attest that there aren't many people in life that come your way who would literally do anything for you to help grow you as an individual, so it is important to hold on tightly to the ones who will. On the flip side, I've developed a relationship this past year that has changed my life. I met someone who I would walk to the ends of the Earth for, and all I hope to do is to help them grow into the potential they have. Having a partner in crime brings an incredible sense of assurance. It gives me the energy to fight because I am no longer fighting just for me, but for the one who is closest to me. Through this relationship, I've learned that giving and helping others grow makes me come alive. To help others accomplish their goals gets me closer to mine. What do I mean by that? My life mantra, if you will, is "to help others build something bigger than themselves," and whether that be for a friend, for a client, or for that special someone, I find fulfillment.

So what's this mean for you?

Well whether you have that special someone or you just have amazing friends, remember to hold on tightly. Create memories before you can't. Because time flies. But secondly, if you haven't found your why, I encourage you to pour into others. Help those around you get closer to their goals, help them see the potential the future holds, and help them to build something bigger than themselves. More than likely, you'll find that fulfillment I was talking about. You just can't beat it.
